☼ review: lee stafford hair growth review

I have wanted this range for as long as I can remember, so when I finally got it home I was so excited I completely forgot to take pictures and prepare it for a review! I do apologize for the incredibly below-standard blurry pictures, unfortunately England has been particularly gloomy today and I couldn’t sort out the lighting well, but nevertheless, on with the review!

This bunch have had mixed reviews on the internet and I’ve done my fair share of research. I don’t think it’s realistic to believe that this stuff is going to make your hair suddenly start growing and you’ll wake up looking like Rapunzel. Instead, the bottles claim to fertilise the hair follicles and create the best environment for hair to grow, using a protein based complex.

I really like the shampoo, because my hair feels clean and nourished without becoming knotty or tangled up (like many shampoos do!). It smells okay, nothing terrible, but there’s nothing wonderful about the scent either. The conditioner is probably the weakest link among the range, purely because I don’t feel like it spreads well at all, and when I rinse it out, I feel no change in the condition of my hair before I move onto the mask.

Now we’re onto the real star of the show! The treatment is just gorgeous. It’s a thick, creamy, milky treatment which smells really yoghurty and spreads throughout my hair really well. I cover my hair in a really generous layer, as I do with any hair treatment, and I vary the length of time I leave it on (for a really deep condition I leave it on for around 2 hours, but 5-10 minutes will leave your hair feeling beautiful). I do love this treatment, however as of yet I can’t really say whether it’s increased how well my hair grows as I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks, so an update will definitely be in order!
