❀ The 'One & Only' TAG

Primer
MAC Prep + Prime Skin, which is just the most beautiful, silky primer which somehow visibly reduces redness on the skin before applying foundation. I love how velvety my skin feels after putting it on, and I notice that makeup lasts so so much longer when I remember to put it on!

Base Product
No surprises here then: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Santa Fe takes the cake! I’m sure you don’t need to hear much more rabbiting on about this wonder product, but it’s my ultimate foundation; perfect colour match, feels smooth and light on the skin and I always feel so good when I wear it.

Concealer
MAC’s Pro LongWear Concealer in NW15 is my holy grail concealer because it’s so pigmented and doesn’t crease at all. I only really apply concealer on my under eye circles and spots, and this concealer seriously doesn’t budge for hours and hours. I trust it completely and it works absolute wonders.

Powder
Face Of Australia’s Loose Translucent Powder, which is going to be very very difficult to get my hands on when I run out! It’s a beautifully finely milled powder with no colour, which just sets and mattifies my foundation. I love this powder because you can apply a light dusting to keep a dewy look, or pack it on for a seriously matte finish. This powder lasts brilliantly through work and can be easily touched up.

Blush
NARS Deep Throat is the only blush in the world for me! It’s slightly peachier and paler than Orgasm, which makes it a whole lot more wearable on my pale skin. It’s my go-to blush for every day wear, because it’s so pretty and natural looking. You really get what you pay for with NARS!

Bronzer
NARS Laguna is my perfect bronzer, even though it looks a bit dark for my skin in the pan, because NARS powders are so fine and high quality, you can dust on a teeny weeny bit and it’ll look like a really natural shadow which is perfect for contouring.

Make-Up Brush (single)
The Sigma F80 brush, which is a flat top kabuki buffing brush that I use with my liquid foundations, and it is so easy to use and has such dense bristles which blend out my base product. It was a little on the pricey side but it is my favourite brush ever in the whole world!

Eyebrow Product
Benefit’s Gimme Brow wins the eyebrow game hands down. It shapes and thickens AND fills in the brows simultaneously. It replaces powder, wax and gel mascaras. I’m really rubbish at all things brow-related but I find this so easy to use and I still manage to get compliments on my brows despite putting in minimal effort!

Eye shadow
I’m not sure if I’m cheating here by putting in an entire palette, but the Naked Palette by Urban Decay is clearly the best palette on the face of the earth and most people know this. All of the eyeshadows Urban Decay includes in this palette are beyond perfect quality and come in such a gorgeous range of pretty neutrals which I dip into more often than I care to admit. I could happily live with just this palette and never wear the same eyeshadow look ever again!

Eyeliner
In contrast to my other high end makeup choices, my absolute favourite eyeliner is the £3 NYC liquid eyeliner felt tip pen thing, which is cheap as chips but does such a good job of helping me get that straight, smooth flick. It runs out every month or so because I’m a winged-eyeliner addict, but it’s so cheap to replace!

Mascara
The Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumising Mascara is an amazing mascara which I think comes from an American brand. I got this online and never been so impressed with a mascara. For the tiny price tag you get a mascara that has lasted me absolutely months and months, but lengthens and thickens my lashes perfectly. I love this mascara and it’s a total bargain.

Lipstick, Lip Gloss or Lip Stain

Mac Lipstick in Angel. A little predictable and a little orthodox, I know, but come on, it is THE Mac lipstick. Everyone has it, everyone loves it and it’s such a flattering shade. I’ve worn mine to death because it’s perfect from day to night, and I find it compliments almost every eye look I go for without being too over bearing.
