The Autumn Tag

Now, I did this tag last year and I absolutely loved it; it got me right back into the autumny spirit. As I was updating my blog’s colour scheme and overall look, I suddenly realised it was October! Here’s to my first autumn themed post of the year. Yay!

1. Coffee - What is your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks or any other coffee shop?

I’m very much a creature of habit, so my autumn drinks never really stray too far from my trusty vanilla latte; an all year classic. However, I have been getting more and more into chai lattes too (traitorous!) and falling deeply in love with the warming spices and heaven-scented steam.

2. Accessories - What do you opt for scarf, boots or gloves?

I’ll have to say boots. I can’t abide scarves or gloves; I feel so restricted! I’m an all year round boot wearer, but my doc martens are my every day shoe once the weather gets colder. A pair of fuzzy socks under those and I’m good to trek up and down snowy mountains all day!

3. Music - What's your favourite music to listen to during autumn? 

My music taste doesn’t seem to change too much with the season, but I guess I do like moodier indie artists like Everything Everything, Laura Marling, Temper Trap, Tears For Fears and of course the 1975.

4. Perfume - What's your favourite scent for this time of the year? 

I love a cinamonny fragrance as the nights get cooler, but my trusty vanilla body shop spray is beautiful.

5. Candles - What scents will you be burning this season? 

Same as last year, I’m rubbish at candles! Also, my halls don’t allow naked flames indoors which means no incense either (my heart is broken!). But I do have some vanilla candles in my room and if I could light incense I’d light my lavender or cinnamon sticks. Cosy!

6. What do you love most about Autumn?

The long, dark evenings. Seeing your breath. Hot showers after running in from the rain. Grey skies. The fashion also changes a lot; it’s a warm welcome to jumpers, oversized shirts and cardigans after summer.

7. Make-up - favourite make up look?

My favourite autumn makeup look is pale, flawless skin with subtle matte contouring, a subtle, pale blush and dark berry purple lips. I’ve currently got my eye on Media by MAC, and Raisin lipliner by Sleek.

8. What're you looking forward to most this Autumn?

Studying hard and exploring my new city. Bristol is a beautiful place with so many cool bars, cafes, restaurants (so far, Chris and I have been out for brie and cranberry pizza on a boat) so I’m dying to get out there and create some more memories. Autumn is my favourite month, so I’m dying to see what amazing things I can discover!
