Makeup Revolution Haul

Nowadays it’s pretty rare that I can afford to treat myself to a haul. Being a student really wipes you out! However, with Make Up Revolution being as affordable (and not to mention as popular with the bloggers) as it is, I decided to put some overtime in at work and splash out a little on a cheeky haul!

Make Up Revolution | Ultra Professional Blush Palette in Golden Sugar
This is the item I’ve been lusting over since purchasing it for my sister for her birthday. I adored all the shades and thought it’d compliment my skin tone, especially for spring and summer! The shades range from pale highlights with tonnes of shimmer, through to some beautiful marbled blushes, and a couple of bronzer/contour colours. A whole set of really good looking cheek products!

Make Up Revolution | Pro Fix Amazing Make Up Fixing Spray
I have had my eye on the Urban Decay setting spray for the longest time now, but have never got around to buying it. I thought I’d ease myself in to the whole fixing spray scene with a more affordable product, just to see if I use it/like it/need it. This was only £5, so it’s really cheap to try out. I can’t wait to see if I like it or not!

Make Up Revolution | The One Highlight Contour Stick
This was the biggest wildcard choice for me, because I’m not usually one for a cream cheek products because I use so much powder with extra coverage, so there’s not usually any point! However, this is meant to be a dupe for NARS’s Multiple, which I’ve been lusting after for such a long time! Again, this is a great way of trialling an expensive product before you invest loads of money, and maybe even finding a really affordable new Holy Grail!

I think all of these products are going to be much more suited to spring and summer; the shimmery blushes are going to give me such a warm glow. The setting spray will hopefully combat my oiliness in the warmer weather, and keep my makeup looking matte and not melty all day. The highlight stick looks so glam, and so out of my normal comfort zone, but definitely something I’d love to experiment with. Perhaps it’s something I’ll use to go all-out glamour on a night out! Even so, there’ll be full reviews on all of these products once I get my mitts on them properly, so look out for them!

Lots of love,
Jasmine x

  2. That palette is so gorgeous, I need to try something by Makeup Revolution! I think the marbled blushers are so beautiful too. I've never tried a fixing spray, looking forward to hearing what you think about it.
