Stay All Day | Setting Perfection10:00 AM
Another day, another beauty review! I’ve got blog posts coming out of my ears at the minute! I’m sitting with a nice little schedule and I’m finding that blogging is helping me wind down from the general crackers-ness of university. So, without further ado, here is a review on Make Up Store’s Amazing Makeup Fixing Spray…
I’ll start on the reason behind me picking this up during a recent splurge in Superdrug. I’ve been lusting after the Urban Decay setting spray for t h e l o n g e s t t i m e! Unfortunately, money’s tight as an impoverished student, and Urban Decay (as we all know and resent) doesn’t come cheap. I’ve been on the lookout for a cheaper alternative, but after reading horrendous reviews on Maybelline’s offering and not really seeing anything that took my fancy, I sort of gave up on my search for a while. Then, as if by magic, Make Up Revolution (who have been picking up momentum for suuuch a long time now) come out and release their Amazing Make Up Fixing Spray, and all for £5!
The packaging is everything I want from packaging; clean looking, simple, minimal, and with a little gold luxe accent. It’s easy to use and, despite it being a little bit bulky, I’ve made space for it in my makeup bag because, recently, I can’t go a day without using it! It’s rare that I find a product that becomes and instant everyday staple, but this has shot straight up into my list of loves and I wouldn’t want to be without it again.
To cut a long story short, I adore this spray. A couple of quick spritzes to my face after doing my makeup sorts me out for the day. As a girl with oilier skin, I find that my makeup usually starts to look greasy in the afternoon, especially around my nose and chin. I definitely noticed a serious difference the first day I tried the spray, though. Fair enough, there was still a bit of oiliness, but nowhere near as bad as usual, and it was hardly noticeable. As I’ve said, this has become one of my daily makeup staples, and I’m so glad I’ve discovered it!

Lots of love,
