MIRACLE MATTE | ONE HECK OF A BLOT

So I’ve basically fallen off the face of the earth for the last few weeks. Starting full-time work has been a massive shock to the system! I’ve been so busy and exhausted, I’ve not had a spare minute to sit down and put my thoughts onto paper. Fiiiiinally, though, I get to sit and spew out make-uppy drivel to my heart’s content. New in my makeup bag this month is a new little love by Soap & Glory. Soap & Glory are definitely a firm favourite of mine. For starters, their names are hilarious and inventive, plus I’m a sucker for pink packaging of beauty products. This ‘One Heck Of A Blot’ powder really packs a punch of mattifying goodness. It’s featured on my face daily since I picked it up.

For £12 (and a 4.5* rating on Boots), you’ll get a little black compact of pure powder goodness. When it says it blots, it’s not joking around. I’ve always had pretty oily skin, and lots of powders have been tried and tested. I didn’t think I’d ever branch off from my trusty MAC Studio Fix Powder, which reeeally is fab for keeping you looking matte, however, it’s just not exactly budget friendly.

I’m adoring this Soap & Glory powder for summer, too, because it doesn’t add any coverage at all, meaning a light sweep of foundation or BB cream and a dusting of powder will set you up for a day of light, natural looking skin. I’d never be without this powder now, it’s really been lovely to try out and I’ve found a new everyday makeup essential!

Lots of love,
Jasmine x

  1. I love the finish MAC Studio Fix powder gives to my skin but it doesn't work that well on keeping my face oils at bay during the warmer months. Today I'm wearing the Soap & Glory powder as my Make Up Forever HD powder made me super oily yesterday. Let's see if this one holds better...
