MY BARELY-THERE WINTER MAKEUP8:00 AM
Howdy partners! It’s February and winter is almost over! Call me crackers, but I have always loved wrapping up warm and cosy-ing up by the fire. Winter is magical, and I’m definitely going to miss the freezing cold mornings and dark evenings as we head into March. With this in mind, I’ve photographed my makeup today, which is a look I’ve worn looooads over winter because I think it matches the season really well. It’s also really easy, and pretty minimalistic. I’ve worn this for uni, work and coffee dates throughout all the chilly weather, and felt very pretty indeed. I also filmed this look for a YouTube video! Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Iced Mocha
I’m a really big fan of the lack of liquid eyeliner lately. My eyes water so bloody much in the cold, it’s not worth putting it on unless I’m actually en route to a fancy dress party as a goth with running black stuff under my eyes (this doesn’t happen very frequently). This new mascara more than makes up for it though. I’m also still a slave to my ultimate BAE Iced Mocha by Gerard Cosmetics, which is the perfect muted, deep nude shade. It goes so well paired with the icy purple eyes. I adore this makeup, and it’s pretty much a slap-it-on-and-go sort of affair.
What has been your go-to makeup over winter? Let me know!
Lots of love,
