With the daiquiris and sunglasses flying around lately, (what a lovely
April we had!) it is no surprise that I’m feeling compelled to depart with
copious amounts of cash for some new makeup. Here are the products that are
currently top of my wishlist, and we can blame all of the amazing bloggers I
follow for the upcoming dent in my wallet…
Born This Way Foundation
+ Concealer in porcelain | Too Faced
I’m having a real Too Faced obsession at the moment…can you tell? Ever
since falling in love with my Better Than Sex mascara a few months ago, I’ve
been dying to try more of their products. The Born This Way foundation looks
beyond incredible, and I’ve been seeing it popping up all over my favourite
blogs. The concealer would compliment it beautifully, and would hopefully help
me hide all the spots that are inevitably going to plague my skin over summer.
Prep + Prime Fix Plus
Spray | MAC Cosmetics
I’ve been living on this earth for over a month without any setting spray.
I left mine at a friend’s house, and I haven’t bothered to go and get it back.
My previous one was OK, but nothing to write home about. I really want to try
the MAC Fix Plus spray because Michael
Finch, a hilaaaarious YouTuber I’ve become obsessed with, absolutely
drowns himself in it and his makeup is always flawless.
Skin Repair Moisturiser
Normal/Combination | Liz Earle
You know the best face cleanser in the whole wide world? The Liz Earle Hot
Cloth Cleanser? Well, apparently there’s a moisturiser that I never realised
exists. And it looks amazing. The Liz Earle skincare has absolutely transformed
my skin and I can’t believe it took me so long to try it out. So my Hot Cloth
cleanser is really close to running out, and next time I reorder a bottle, I’m
going to add this to my basket too for maximum skincare luxury.
Foundation Primer –
Blemish-Less | Laura Mercier
Laura Mercier pops up on my favourite blogs quite a lot, and although I’ve
never tried any of their products before, I’m keen to see what all the fuss is
about. This one claims to aid in reducing blemishes, which is perfect for the
warmer weather. I own a few primers, but I literally always forget to put them
on my face. Maybe splurging £30 on one will ensure I don’t forget to slap it
on?
Matte Liquid Lipsticks in
Dolce K and Moon | Kylie Jenner Cosmetics
I vowed to never buy into the Kylie Jenner hype. But, sad as it is, as
much as I try to hate her and her entire concept, I adore it. I neeeed it! The
two shades I’m craving in her liquid lipsticks are Moon and Dolce K. Moon is
strikingly beautiful and even though it came out as part of the Halloween release,
I still think it’s really wearable. I’d never dream of touching her eyeshadow
palettes though after seeing a video of someone deconstructing theirs because
it smelt funky…
Chocolate Bar Palette |
Too Faced
And a palette that will certainly NOT smell funky would be the Too Faced
Chocolate Bar Palette. I’ve had this on my wishlist for the longest time, but I’m
such a palette hoarder I don’t feel like I can justify it. It also comes with a
pretty hefty pricetag, so it’ll definitely take some saving up for. I just
think that the shades within this palette are so beautiful and spring-like, and
we’ve all heard how high quality the shadows are.
What products are on your
wishlist at the moment? Let me know!
Lots of love,
I love Michael Finch too! Great wish list, MAC Fix + has been on my wishlist for eons now and I still haven't got around to buying it. I really want to try the Born This Way foundation too, it looks beautiful in photos, thanks for sharing xxx
