LOUNGE UNDERWEAR PINK BALCONY BRA SET | REVIEW + TRY ON

Real talk…is this blog just a Lounge Underwear fan account at this point? Very possibly. But these sets are pretty much curing my depression, impeaching President Trump and inventing the covid-19 vaccine at this point, so you’d better believe I’m going to keep investing in them. I’m actually quite surprised I never bought the pink set before now, because I compensate for my lack of personality almost exclusively by plastering myself in as much baby pink as physically possible. I am in absolute love with this latest set, so I wanted to take some pretty pictures and tell you what I think of these; my latest and newest favourite undercrackers…

If you’ve read my other Lounge Underwear posts so far, you’ll know the rough drill by now! I buy my sets in a size 32 / A / S, which refers to the bra band and cup size, and the thong as a separate. I’m generally a 32A up top and a size 8 in knickers in other underwear from other stores. My first purchase with Lounge was a guess, but I know what I’m ordering now. The sizing seems pretty accurate, but they do have a handy sizing chart on their website for reference if you’re unsure. 

This is the Pink Balcony Bra & Thong which was among the first underwired sets that Lounge released. They’re the style of Lounge Underwear that I own the most sets in so far, and I really adore the fit and cut of them. The bra is a soft lace and super comfortable band, and the thongs feature a high-cut waistband which are incredibly flattering on the ol’ booty and - actually - also the stomach. I think that just because I wear the style of clothing I wear, like off-the-shoulder tops and strappy dresses, the bra straps, and sometimes even the top of the cup is visible. I wear the thongs on an almost constant rotation, but the bras definitely get less wear just because I don’t like visible straps, as a rule!

Again, this set of beautiful undies set me back an eye-watering fifty of the queen’s English pounds. I would be unable to tell you the total amount I’ve spent on Lounge Underwear, because my mother would disown me and my best friend would headbutt me, as we’re meant to be saving to move out! I can usually find a discount code which knocks between £5 and £10 off, which definitely always helps. The shipping was swift as a coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire [guess which movie I’m watching tonight!] and came within 48hrs of ordering them, as usual.

And guuuuuuurl, I’m not lying when I say that the pink is probably my favourite shade of the sets I own so far. It’s the most beautiful rosy pink, whilst also being a true pastel. It’s almost like a warm yet quite muted coral pink, but isn’t so vibrant it’ll show through clothes. Disclaimer; I did throw these knickers in the wash before getting around to take these photos! So the thong is slightly washed out, but they’ll even out once they’re both washed a few times. I have noticed that my Lounge Underwear do tend to come out of the packaging quite vibrantly dyed, and they do fade slightly over the first couple of weeks of wear. 

I love the way my nipple percings show through the sheer lace, and I adore the way the various pastel colours look against my tattoos. These sets just make me feel like the baddest of bitchez. I’m just honestly addicted. Having an addictive personalty is kind of a joke; my family insist you can’t be addicted to online shopping but I’d disagree. I think they’re getting slightly bored of these parcels coming to the door, but I just gently remind them that at least I’m not on meth! I’m saving that for if 2020 gets any more diabolical. Then me and meth can talk. For now, it’s pants!
