review: Benefit Bad Gal Lash & They're Real Mascara6:00 AM
I’ve always been quite lucky with my eyelashes; they’re long and pretty thick, and so I’ve never had to bother with false eyelashes. I’ve always been mascara obsessed, though, and have always looked for the ones which let me play up my naturally long lashes. The Benefit Beauty Funsize Flirts Box that my boyfriend got me at the end of last year contains TWO of Benefit’s best selling mascaras, and naturally I was over the moon to crack them open.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara
I’ve had the full size of this mascara before, so this isn’t a new one for me. I absolutely adore this mascara, though, and it certainly does what it says on the tin. It thickens and lengthens the lashes to create a false lash look! As I said, I’m quite lucky in the lash department, and honestly, I get so many compliments with this one, and people do tend to ask whether I’ve got falsies on or not. The mascara is jet black and has a thick formula which coats the lashes for a dramatic look. The brush is so innovatively designed; a little spikey ball on the tip which allows you to get right into the corners of the lashes and coat the bottom lashes without smudging it around. Overall, this one is an absolute love of mine and I’m so glad I’ve managed to bag a little extra sample size of this so I don’t run out any time soon. It really is my go-to high end mascara.
Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara
This is one that’s been completely new to me and the first time I tried this was when I pulled it out of the box. As a mascara, I do like it. It worked to lengthen and thicken my lashes and didn’t let them clump together. I found that the brush caused me to smudge my little lower lashes. For £17.50, it’s not one I’d buy in the full size, simply because when I compare it to They’re Real it doesn’t measure up. As you can see, the Bad Gal Lash lengthens and thickens the lashes, but nowhere near as well. I’d like it much more if I didn’t compare it!
